Kunst in Valkenburg (KIV) is opening the doors on Saturdag March 10, 2018 and is celebrating her 11-year aniversary. Traditionaly KIV Inside 2018 takes place until Sunday March 25. Visiting hours are daily form 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM in the beautiful spaces of the cloister of Château St. Gerlach and the treasures of the St. Gerlach. The outdoor exhibition KIV Outside on the outdoor grounds of Château St. Gerlach also starts on 10 March and runs throughout the summer untill Sunday, September  30st, 2017.

KiV Inside - Outside 2018 Staying the night in the vicinity of KiV?

KiV Inside-Outside 2018 takes place on a unique location: (Inside) in the cloister of Château St. Gerlach and in the treasures of the beautiful St. Gerlach, (Outside) the beautiful estate of Chateau St./ Gerlach..

In the treasury, rare relics are present, such as a silver relic chest where the skull of the Holy Gerlachus is kept. Also a carefully restored tunic of this hermit of the twelfth century. Recently, the reconstruction of the face of St. Gerlach has been completed and can now be seen during KIV inside. Visit his eighteenth-century frescoes of St. Gerlach, which were restored five years ago. The location alone is worth a visit!
